Nox is one of the playable Shadows in Light Bearers.
Lore[ | ]
The 1st Plane of the Chaos is an endless sea of burning sands scarred and scorched by flaming meteors that plummet to the surface. Not a single shadow stretches from any object; they are overpowered by the intense light emanating from the engulfing flames and the sun high in the sky. Rolling dunes cover the entire plane, forcing any of its inhabitants to dredge through the hot and shifting surface.
Wandering blindly through the endless desert, Nox slowly slithered forward with his eyes closed tightly. He feared the light that lay just beyond the thin veil of his eyelids. Once, a long time ago, he had been brave enough to try to open his eyes, but the brightness burned. The light seared itself into his vision and he let out a gut-wrenching scream in response to the excruciating pain. To say the least, He would not make that mistake again. He was now eternally condemned to trudge through this wasteland, unable to see. Moving forward towards some unseen safety that may never exist.
Time was impossible to track, the sun never set and the air never cooled. All Nox could feel was the radiant light surrounding him, suffocating him. The burning sand felt thick and no matter how hard Nox tried to force himself forward he couldn't escape that spot. There was nothing left in him to keep fighting. He looked upwards and called out to the heavens in a guttural scream, "I will not forget! Mercy will not be shown!" His body slumped forward and he silently wished for a meteor to land on him, ending the misery and torture.
Seemingly out of nowhere, a deafening crack resonated all around Nox. He could feel the ground below him rumbling and shifting. At first, he was positive his wish had been granted and a meteor had struck the ground finally ending it, but then a cool breeze passed by his shoulder. "What is this trickery?"
He was unsure what to make of it. Was this the powers that be mocking him, giving him false hope? Another breeze blows past, stronger than the last. His mind races with possibilities, but he knows there is only one way to know for sure. Steadying himself and tilting his head as far down as he can, he slowly begins to open his eyes. The light started to seep in, it burned. He wanted to slam his eyes shut but something was there, he could feel it. It was as though it called out, “Come. Now. Darkness Awaits.”
That was enough to reignite his hope for salvation. He forced his eyes open and although the pain was unimaginable, he endured long enough to see through the blinding light the edges of a crack floating in the air in front of him. Lunging forward he was propelled into an unknown world and he could feel the power surging in him reeking of anger and hatred. For the first time in ages, Nox looked around with eyes wide open. It was night and the only light was from a few torches casting shadows off the swords and crates. The stone was cool to the touch. "This is more like it." He let out a sinister chuckle and plunged this unsuspecting world into Darknessssss

Tips[ | ]
- As a Light Bear, crouching during Nox's ultimate makes it harder for him to find you.
- Using your ultimate before your dash or spawning a clone increases your chance to catch the disoriented bear
